Why This Must Be Read: There is very little Jonas Quinn fic out there, and these five snapshots of time for Jonas is a real treat.
From his first painful efforts to make a place for himself on Earth to the last painful effort of trying to make a place for himself on Ori-occupied Langara, Nightspear treats us to his interactions with the team, with Hammond, with Daniel... and even with his own people, when he's changed enough that they also treat him as a stranger. Written with Nightspear's typical stellar characterization, and a final note of hope, Scientists, Slaves, and Soldiers is an excellent Five Things that you're sure to enjoy.
"Hi," Jonas said, smiling and hoping that openness would bridge the gap between him and the members of SG-1. "Can I ask you a question?"
"No," Teal'c said, and walked away.
