Why This Must Be Read: This lovely ficlet includes the Sha’re that lives inside my head – practical and mischievous and content, confident in her marriage and her place in Daniel’s life. She’s sassy and funny, and she treats Daniel like a human being, not the savior of Abydos.

That’s an awful lot to pack into less than 350 words, but Tripoli manages it with style.
