Why This Must Be Read: In the wake of Jolinar's death, the guys try to find a way to cheer Sam a little. They are adorably clueless :) but with a little help from Janet, they get it right.
Sweet Jack and Daniel interaction with Teal'c prominently on the sidelines, then a really lovely denouement in an ice cream parlor. Classic style SG-1!
Daniel said, “You don’t always have to be one of the guys, Sam.” He kept his eyes down, watching his sundae carefully. When she didn’t answer he looked up and went on, “Sometimes, you know, it’s okay to be….”
“A girl?” Sam guessed.
“I was going to say, just Sam,” Daniel finished.
