Why This Must Be Read: In the wake of Avatar, Daniel is alarmed to discover that his two-second window into the future doesn’t seem to have faded away. Despite his efforts to cope, Daniel knows he won’t be able to go off-world with his reactions skewed from reality. But when the delayed effect seems to wear off, and SG-1 – together with General Jack O’Neill – go on a mission together, a sudden resurgence proves disastrous… and possibly deadly.

The reader has to accept Daniel’s continued prescience, as well as the probability of natives dialling their DHD at random and actually succeeding in getting viable addresses. Nevertheless, this gripping story, written in Travelling One’s usual engaging style, has everything you need for a satisfying fic – solid teamy goodness, friendship and support for one another, drama, whumping, comfort, humor, and a happy ending.
