Why This Must Be Read: This fun little fic starts in Season One and wanders through the next several years, although it's hard to say exactly when Teal'c got fixated on trashy tabloids. :)

Wonderland gives us an entertaining look at some friendly rivalry between Sam and Daniel, as the two of them engage in a highly entertaining game of one-upmanship. The challenge: to convince Jack to classify personal items as "essential" for off-world exploration – the more outrageous, the better. Daniel's assertion that good quality chocolate is necessary, for example, since it makes a much better dowry than a goat, is trumped by Sam's triumph regarding barrettes – especially her threat to use them to keep Daniel's hair out of his face, since it's longer than her own.

Written in Sam's POV with an engaging voice and style, I'd Rather Have an Oreo is a light-hearted look at Sam and Daniel as they cement their friendship.
