Why This Must Be Read: When the queen of gen fic starts writing SG-1 fic again, that's certainly a reason to celebrate!

When she writes her usually delightful team banter and snark and gives us lots of pie, there's even more reason for glee.

And when Tallulah Rasa crosses some twenty-five shows and books with SG-1...

Well, what are you waiting for? :)

"So…" Daniel began. "When you…"

"Died?" Ned asked.

Daniel wrinkled his nose. "Yeah. That. When you died, did you see a guy in a black robe? Kind of…kind of a bony guy?"

Ned grimaced. "Yeah," he said uncomfortably. "And…I could hear him, but not with my ears."

Daniel nodded. "Yeah. And it was as if…"

"He talked all in capitals," Ned said.

The looked at each other.

"There was also a rat," Ned admitted.

Daniel looked at him. "That's what Dr. Pierson over in Linguistics said after he…"

They exchanged another look.

"I need more coffee," Daniel said. "And to translate something. Anything."

"And I need to bake some pies," Ned said.

They left hurriedly.

Not particularly, no. On the other hand, habit means that I nearly always link to light format, unless the page doesn't have any styling at all.

And I am fascinated, because you are the first person ever to dislike light formatting. Most people prefer it when they read; after all, the interest is in the fic, not the LJ style. So now I am very curious. What makes you prefer non-light formatting?

I actually find the light format harder to read than most people's styles. I find the paragraph breaks are too big and the text is too wide on my screen, and the contrast between bright white and black is actually harder to read than something like your style here. If someone has an unreadable style, I'll tend to hit the navbar to reload in my style rather than light style, now DW's made that easy. I also find that the light style has links in weird places or missing altogether. YMMV, of course, but I prefer plain links, and then I can customise it myself if it's unreadable.

Thanks for the explanation! I wonder how many more people out there have the same attitude...?

I'm going to have a big rec post up some time next week, and I think I'll include a poll about light formats as well. Thanks. :)
