Why This Must Be Read: You know all those pre-series fics of young!Daniel practically growing up on digs, and then fostered!Daniel all full of ANGST and SADNESS and self-hugging?

...Yeah, this one isn't that. :)

On the contrary: this is just a little vignette of Daniel, Jack, and Sam, shooting the breeze and reminiscing about their pretty good normal upbringings. A lovely bit of friendship that turns fanon expectations on its head!
