Why This Must Be Read: This is a powerful, poignant exploration of Cassie's life, beginning on Hanka, through Janet's death, Jack's prolonged MIA status at the beginning of S7, and the initially-unwanted quest to get SG-1 safely back home from the far future in 1969. I love the way Ivorygates gives Cassie a different mindset and different perspectives, and the sheer hard work and challenges involved in getting the team back to the right time. Those missing loops of time are so intriguing, and this story treats us to a fascinating look at what might have been.
