Why This Must Be Read: Jack and Daniel, right after Kawalsky's death. A little bit of sleep deprivation, a little bit of anger, a little bit of honesty.
My favorite line is the foreshadowing in the final bit of dialogue, but this is an excellent glimpse of early S1 Jack and Daniel, feeling their way into a long and satisfying friendship.
