Why This Must Be Read: While these three entertaining ficlets are connected by a theme - things you don't ever want to hear a teammate say - they are each unique and all a lot of fun!
Jack learns (to his regret) that there are times that jokes aren't appropriate, Jack and Sam have a minor phase problem, and McKay takes a lesson from SG-1's seamlessness to recognize his own role as a member of his team on Atlantis. These are light and fluffy, with just enough underlying truth to add a perfect note of thoughtfulness. Read and enjoy!
Jack peers over their stooped figures at the screen. Insinuating an arm between them, he points at the streaming symbols. "Mistake in your calculations here, Carter."
If he didn't know them so well, he wouldn't have noticed the sudden stillness that steals over the two scientists. Then, slowly, they turn to stare at each other. A shadow falls over Jack. As if by magic, Teal'c has materialised at Jack's side, his expression neutral, but still contriving to look threatening.
