chocolatekettle
Author's Website: unknown
Link: Leaving, and Letting Go
Why This Must Be Read: Chocolatekettle presents a superb sketch of Jack in the wake of Meridian, half-way between denial and fury and only too easily read by those who know him so well.
Hammond. Ferretti. Superb Jack and Teal'c interaction. No one can offer comfort, but they can help him reach for acceptance. This is powerful, perfectly Jack, and just plain good.
What was left of his anger is gone now, defeated by logic and truth. Grief is harder to bear, but easier to hide. He pushes it away, puts on his colonel face and carries on.
