Why This Must Be Read: Jack and mini!Jack, snarking at each other while (not) fishing. Funny and sharp, until it's not funny and still sharp. And incredibly, perfectly Jack.
"You know," Jack offers after another long pause, "Daniel tried to convince me once that having you running around was a sort of immortality because my memories and ideas and what-have-you would survive me, at least for a good thirty years."
"You tell him that's a load of crap?" the clone asks.
"Yeah, pretty much," replies Jack, and takes another swig.
